Personality Questions:

1) List and expand upon your three best traits / strengths. (These should be personality-related, not physical.)
Integrity -- I'm honest and hardworking. If I make promises, I follow through or I let people know why I couldn't. I treat people how I would like to be treated and I don't talk bad about people behind their back.

Quick learner -- I pick up concepts quickly, and I have a good memory. I have strong logic skills, so when I'm taught something in a very logical manner, I pick it up in a snap. Being a student is one of my greatest talents. :P

Nice -- I'm generally nice (but not always: see weaknesses). Like I said, I treat people with respect and I LOVE helping people out. Being able to answer someone's question or teach them something new is one of the best things in life.

2) List and expand upon your three worst traits / weaknesses.
Socially awkward -- I find it really difficult to talk to people I don't know well. I have a lot of difficulty keeping conversations going without them lapsing into awkward silences. I also tend to be unsocial and am probably more comfortable staying at home all day long rather than going out with friends.

Perfectionistic -- I'm overly critical, both when it comes to myself and when it comes to others. My perfectionism has its benefits in that the final product of what I'm working on is usually very high-quality... but it takes so much longer for it to get done. I tend to also criticize people freely, which has blown up in my face at times -- I've actually gotten a long, angry tirade sent to me once, in reply to harsh feedback I gave.

High tension / moody -- Like my mother, I tend to take on a lot of stress and it will quickly build up and snap. I keep a very calm front, but underneath I might be extremely stressed out, ready to boil over, and not really realize it until the smallest thing will set me off. So basically in a moment I can go from :D to >:/. I'm not very good at managing stress, I suppose.

3) Rate yourself on the following traits by putting an 'X' in the box you think fits best. (E.g. if you are slightly more introverted than extroverted, put an 'X' in the second box.) Explain your choice as well.

Introverted [X] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Extroverted
Explain: Super introverted. If people choose to start up a conversation, I'll gladly talk to them but I almost never am the conversation-starter. I'm okay being shut up in my house all by myself. :)

Cheerful [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] [ ] Gloomy
Explain: I think I'm more on the cheerful side, but it's mixed. In the past I have had someone say to me that they've never seen me anything but happy, which shocked me because I can sure be moody! I suppose my "public face" is that I'm pretty happy and carefree. In private, though, I can often be frustrated or stressed. But by default, I'm usually pretty content. It doesn't take much to make me happy.

Leader [X] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Supportive
Explain: Most likely, even if I'm not in a leadership position I will be a "backseat leader". A perfectionistic need to "fix" things plus a tendency toward analysis means that I will usually have a lot of ideas that I think should be put in motion, and the best way is just to go and do it myself.

Confident [ ] [X] [ ] [ ] [ ] Modest
Explain: I tend to have a bit of an overinflated ego and confidence in my own abilities. At the same time, I don't really show it and there are some things that I'm incredibly un-confident in, such as my ability to talk to strangers or speak in a foreign language. So it really depends. In things I know I'm good at, though, I think I tend to be pretty confident.

Reserved [X] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Impulsive
Explain: Super reserved. I tend to think things through a lot, and I don't do things spontaneously. Often find myself thinking something in my mind two or three times before saying it, even.

Energetic [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [X] Calm
Explain: I think I'm pretty calm. I can get really excited over things, but in general I tend to be the most composed/unemotional of my friends, I think?

Feminine [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] [ ] Masculine/Tomboyish
Explain: Haha, I can never decide this one. On one hand, I'm a geek and I'm good at math/science/computers, things that are traditionally associated with guys. I don't wear makeup or skirts or jewelry, and I have a very plain style. I've never really thought of getting married. On the other hand, I do enjoy girly things like fairies and princesses and dress-up dolls and I love a good love story. I tend to cry very easily. I'm a mix.

4) Describe how you typically work in teams. Is it generally a good experience, or do you prefer working by yourself? Do you like to lead and make decisions or do you prefer to let others make decisions so that you can do the legwork? You may find it helpful to give an example of a team you worked on recently and how that went.
I actually love working in teams. By myself, I have trouble making decisions but with others, there's always someone to bounce ideas off of, and there's kind of an energy and creativity that comes from working in teams that can't be achieved by working alone. That said, I had some terrible team experiences during my last year of school, where people would not come to all the meetings and nothing would get done. Extremely frustrating. In a team I tend to take the role of the secretary. I'm very good at keeping track of everything that's going on and what still needs to be done, keeping the group focused and doing any administrative/data-related work that needs to be done.

5) What interests/hobbies do you have? How do you like to spend your free time?
I mostly spend my time on LiveJournal, lol. Making icons, mostly. I'm in a singing group and I like to do web design in my free time. I also draw and write occasionally, and I'm working on reading more.

6) Describe one to three careers you would find ideal, with a little explanation of why it appeals to you.
Teacher -- I used to teach discussion section when I was in college and it was SO FUN. I love teaching, and I love designing curriculum in my head. As I said above, the feeling you get when you teach someone something is amazing. BUT I have no formal teacher training and I'm also not sure I'd actually be a GOOD teacher (since I tend to get frustrated easily and a little harsh).
Game Programmer -- This was my dream for the longest time. When I first started college, I wanted to make computer games for girls/women. I've kind of lost sight of the dream but I still feel it's with me. I still feel there should be more women in the games industry making games they like, and that they think other people would like too.
Animator -- This stems from my Disney obsession. XD I don't know if I'd actually be able to cut it as an animator but I love art and I love animation of all kinds.

FF Questions:

7) List one to three favorite Final Fantasy games and why you like them. Sequels/spin-offs/non-numbered/KH/Dissidia games are okay.
Final Fantasy VI -- Epic cast, epic music, epic storyline. I love the characters so much, and how they're introduced. There are so many wonderful moments like the opera and Edgar's coin flip.
Final Fantasy Tactics -- Best $10 I ever spent on a game. The job system is so freaking addicting. Interesting graphics, and the most hilariously bad translation ever.
Final Fantasy X -- Same reasons as FF6. The music in this game makes me cry. Yuna and Tidus's stories resonated so much with me. Awesome character designs.

Honorable mention goes to FFXIII.

8) List one to three of your favorite Final Fantasy characters and why:
Sabin -- I dunno I kind of have a crush on him for some reason. ._. I like his free spirit, and his whole character, how he's a prince who gave it up to go be a monk.
Fang -- She is gorgeous. Love her voice (at least the English one; I haven't listened to the Japanese). Her dedication to Vanille is so touching.
Yuna -- She is also gorgeous. Her story is so sweet and sad. She's gentle but at the same time has amazing resolve and dedication.

9) One to three characters you relate to (you may reuse answers from #8 if applicable) and why:
I'm not sure. I haven't really thought that much about it... I did relate to Yuna a bit but I'm not sure if I'm really like her personality-wise. I do relate to her sort of... withdrawn-ness? I feel like I'm the same way. I also kind of relate to Lightning, but I'm not sure why exactly. Just her no-nonsense attitude, I guess?

10) The FF game you liked playing least:
FF12. I liked the characters but the story went too slowly for me and I gave up halfway through. It seemed like it was trying to be like two of my favorite games (FF6 and FFT) but failing.

11) One to three FF characters you dislike and why:
I actually don't know if I really dislike any characters? Vaan kind of annoyed me in FF12. I guess I just thought he was not a very good choice of a main character. I would have liked to see Ashe as the main character. Hope kind of annoyed me in FF13 -- it was all his GRARRRR ANGERRR type of acting, I guess.

12) Favorite weapon in a Final Fantasy game (either the name if you liked the name, or a picture if you liked the look of it, or a description if it had awesome stats/abilities):
I really like the name "Save the Queen" for a knight sword. The ultimate weapons in FFX were awesome too. They were so epic when fully powered.

13) Your favorite Final Fantasy summon (e.g. Ifrit, Carbuncle, Bahamut, etc.):
I always like seeing Ifrit and Shiva in FF games.

14) Your favorite spell/ability/technique that can be learned in a Final Fantasy game (e.g. Esuna, Steal, special finishes/overdrives such as Tifa's Final Heaven limit break, etc.):
Holy, Yuna's Aeon summons. I feel so badass when I bring out the aeons.

15) A Final Fantasy mini-game/sidequest you invested entirely too much time into:
Triple Triad (FFVIII) and Coin Break (FFX-2). I can't not play them when the opportunity comes up...

16) Your favorite Cid:
T.G. CID.

17) Optional: Up to one class you think does not fit you, with reasoning why.
No idea.
