Looks like I'm not the only one who was debating between Soldier and Dragoon. Soldier definitely seems to stand out a little more not only because you identify with so many of them, but because you genuinely seem to have a similar mind set. the_404_error certainly made a valid point by mentioning that soldiers often tend to be reserved or introverted characters who end up leading anyway.

The preference for power also sounds right up the Soldier alley too admittedly.

Off topic, but I've always thought Headmaster Cid looked more like Robin Williams (http://lparchive.org/Final-Fantasy-VIII/Update%201-4/FFVIII-0021.jpg) personally.
