Personality Questions:

1) List and expand upon your three best traits / strengths. (These should be personality-related, not physical.)
1. I'm creative, once I have the motivation. Give me a project on something I'm currently loving, and I'll go wild with it.
2. Kindness makes the world go 'round. Even if I'm having a bad day, I really do try my best to be nice to anyone and everyone around me.
3. I'm often silent. I find this to be a good thing, as I have been since childhood. A very quiet and reserved child - I was never interested in group activities or playing with others; I prefer to observe behavior and listen.

2) List and expand upon your three worst traits / weaknesses.
1. I'm hit with strong currents of depression at random, and I'm generally a blank wall to speak to, when that happens. I can't find much to say, and life seems to be inching by in black & white.
2. I often try to make sure that everyone else is comfortable and happy, that I generally ignore my own happiness and well-being. This probably leads to the depression that I mentioned above.
3. I have trouble expressing my feelings. Sometimes in a deep conversation, I'll do the whole "uh..." or just the "..." thing when I'm asked how I feel on a particular subject, as I've receded into general solitary distrust of others for fear of being hurt if I get too attached.

3) Rate yourself on the following traits by putting an 'X' in the box you think fits best. (E.g. if you are slightly more introverted than extroverted, put an 'X' in the second box.) Explain your choice as well.

Introverted [X] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Extroverted
Explain: As I said above, I have trouble expressing myself. After high-school, I slipped into a rut, and now I'm not used to social situations, so I simply do my best to shrug them off kindly when they come up.

Cheerful [ ] [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] Gloomy
Explain: It depends on what day we're speaking. My life and emotions are whirlwind-esque. I can be in a good mood, but I'm not sure if I'm ever completely "okay" or "happy" - just not in so much pain, for awhile, at least. Bah, that sounds awful and pessimistic, but it's the truth.

Leader [ ] [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] Supportive
Explain: I have been a leader at a land-community before, although with my stress and general bouts of depression, it didn't work out. I had a lot of fun while doing so, and I was able to connect with many on a personal level for once. However, my personality just didn't allow it to be so. In the end, I'm more of a "happy to be of help while staying somewhere in the background" type.

Confident [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [X] Modest
Explain: All I do is compare my work and myself to others, and how much better I could be, or should be. I'll take a compliment if I get it, but it never goes to my head, because in my mind, there's no way that whatever I did is as good as what they're saying it is.

Reserved [X] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Impulsive
Explain: If I don't have some sort of game-plan, day-plan, outing-plan, etc, I go nuts. If things aren't planned, then I'm on edge. I have to think it out, know how I'll respond, know the situation, etc. Walking into something that I'm not prepared for is one of my biggest fears.

Energetic [ ] [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] Calm
Explain: More towards calm - although I'm a very nervous person, but I wouldn't quite put that under "energetic." I would never describe myself as such, honestly. I can be happy and excited for something, but it's still in a very...calm-like manner. When I'm not being nervous, that is.

Feminine [ ] [ ] [X] [ ] [ ] Masculine/Tomboyish
Explain: I went through a tomboy phase growing up, heh. I'd say I've found a good mix now though, hence marked in the middle. I have form fitting clothes, I get my hair done nicely, and I don't mind make-up when it's appropriate. However, I'm not a diva. I adore tank-tops and lounge pants - the tanks are pretty form fitting, but the pants are pretty baggy. I don't do my nails, I don't buy a ton of clothes or shoes...I'm kind of hit and miss, I suppose?

4) Describe how you typically work in teams. Is it generally a good experience, or do you prefer working by yourself? Do you like to lead and make decisions or do you prefer to let others make decisions so that you can do the legwork? You may find it helpful to give an example of a team you worked on recently and how that went.
Well, as I mentioned, I am apart of another land-community, but I find it difficult to lead, so I'm currently getting out of modding and into regular member status. It's just...too much responsibility right now, given my emotional state and medical problems. Bah. Even when I was in school, I very much preferred to work alone, and always felt that I would complete the work faster if I could have. I can *do* team activities, but I've always found them incredibly difficult, as I have trouble generally socializing with others when it comes to whatever we're doing.

5) What interests/hobbies do you have? How do you like to spend your free time?
Fandom, I suppose. I mostly hang out at home and watch things. When I'm not doing that, I'm on my laptop, stringing some sort of project together. When I'm not doing that, I play a lot of video games. As far as interests...I adore space. Science fiction, space travel, black holes, the possibility of some crazy dimensional tunnel, etc. I also quite like to write. It's always been a passion.

6) Describe one to three careers you would find ideal, with a little explanation of why it appeals to you.
1. Author. I'd probably have a lot more motivation if I really did know that people were looking forward to/depending on my work. It'd be very nice to have something published.
2. Astronaut. To actually go in space? Seeing Earth from a different perspective? Going up to the Space Station? I can't imagine how breathtaking and amazing that would all be.
3. Paralegal Secretary. I like to keep things in folders, in order, etc. I wouldn't have a problem with that job, because you deal with people *for* your boss, but in the end, they have to *really* deal with them. I'm just the file, smile, and organize lady. It's being in the background as I mentioned I like, without directly being up front.

FF Questions:

7) List one to three favorite Final Fantasy games and why you like them. Sequels/spin-offs/non-numbered/KH/Dissidia games are okay.
FFVIII: It was my very first video game as a kid, so I have a soft spot for it. Besides that, I adore the tale told between Squall and Rinoa, and all of the other elements of the game. It'll simply always be my favorite because of how epic I feel it is.
FFX: I think I'm drawn to tragic romance, because I enjoyed the tale told between Yuna and Tidus in this, too. Not as much as Squall and Rinoa, but a very solid story. I also really adored the battle system and the sphere grid - I find leveling fun.
FFCC: I actually haven't finished this game yet, so I'm not sure if it's fair to put it on my favorites list, but I feel like I'm getting a really cool perspective of FFVII that I didn't see before. I adore Zack and running about the ShinRa building, the battling & leveling, and the materia system.

8) List one to three of your favorite Final Fantasy characters and why:
Rinoa Heartilly: Well, she'll always remind me of myself. Probably a younger self though, because I grew hardened to her emotional spectrum as I aged. I actually dyed my hair black because of her when I was 13, and I'm 20 now...still with black hair, haha. The way her character walks, moves, talks, her attitude, hopes, and fears...I'll always love Rinoa, for all of the things I mentioned, and probably more. Besides, she gave Squall a chance to really live. I wish someone like her would could whisk me away and give me that chance.
Squall Leonhart: As a younger girl, I thought Squall was the definition of cool, although I didn't understand his character too well until I aged a bit, and now I relate to most of his lines. Honestly, I feel like I could write a book about him, because we're on the same level so often. His pain feels like my pain.
Rikku: How could I not? She's a breath of fresh air, she's got awesome technology, she speaks a cool language, and she's really sweet and kind-hearted. She can be a little immature at times, but that's part of her character's persona. It's part of her charm.

9) One to three characters you relate to (you may reuse answers from #8 if applicable) and why:
Rinoa Heartilly: See above.
Squall Leonhart: See above.
Quistis Trepe: She often seemed...unhappy. Unsure as to what to do with her life after she lost her job, (in my case, after graduation) desperately seeking comfort from another (Squall) and the bittersweet feeling as you watch others reach the happiness you're so desperately trying to find. You can't be angry with them for reaching their goals, but it makes the fact that you haven't reached your own just that much more heart-wrenching.

10) The FF game you liked playing least:
That's kind of an odd question, I think. I mean, I have my least favorite FF, I suppose, but I didn't "not enjoy" playing any of them. They all have their charms.

11) One to three FF characters you dislike and why:
Hmm. I don't really think about the characters like that. I suppose though, I could name at least two...
Zidane Tribal: Seemed kind of like a shallow character throughout the game, to me. I guess he just didn't seem all that well-equipped in the personality department, imho. (Besides, I don't like his pervy attitude towards Garnet, meh.)
Cloud Strife: I actually don't have a problem with Cloud, I just have always had trouble understanding his character. So, I wouldn't say that I dislike him, he just confuses me a little. This could also be because I'm in dire need of a FFVII brush-up, though, so it might not even be his fault.

12) Favorite weapon in a Final Fantasy game (either the name if you liked the name, or a picture if you liked the look of it, or a description if it had awesome stats/abilities):
Well, I adore daggers. So, I really loved Zidane's weapons throughout the game, and into Dissidia. See this photo for reference! I also adore Rikku's Claws though, just because of how swiftly she could just twist and attack. Ah, so cool!

13) Your favorite Final Fantasy summon (e.g. Ifrit, Carbuncle, Bahamut, etc.):
Shiva. I adore ice. I thought she looked her best in VIII, but I like seeing her used in any of the games.

14) Your favorite spell/ability/technique that can be learned in a Final Fantasy game (e.g. Esuna, Steal, special finishes/overdrives such as Tifa's Final Heaven limit break, etc.):
I like all of Squall's Limit Break's, because it's Squall. He looks awesome when he breaks out his moves.

15) A Final Fantasy mini-game/sidequest you invested entirely too much time into:
Er, none? I don't really do the chocobo stuff, and I always found the card games to be a pain. Well, I do all of Zack's mini-missions in Crisis Core, if that counts. As soon as a new one pops up, I'm on it.

16) Your favorite Cid: Cid Highwind. Pretty funny guy, and loved/wanted space travel. I don't dislike any of the Cid's, though.

17) Optional: Up to one class you think does not fit you, with reasoning why.
