Personality Questions:
1) List and expand upon your three best traits / strengths. (These should be personality-related, not physical.)
I have a fantastic memory. My short term memory is great, which helps tremendously in cramming for tests. I can read something once and remember quotes from it. I have a pretty good long term memory too.
I'm good at getting work done. If it comes down to it, I'll do whatever I have to, despite procrastinating/complaining about it.
I love to have fun. My philosophy is usually that play comes before work as much as work will allow. I believe being with friends and having fun is the most valuable thing.
2) List and expand upon your three worst traits / weaknesses.
I procrastinate a lot. My work ethic needs to improve a lot.
I need to work on my communication skills. Often I won't communicate what I want to communicate the first time, and have to clarify later.
I need to figure out what I want to do with my life. A goal would make life so much easier, but I have no goal.
3) Rate yourself on the following traits by putting an 'X' in the box you think fits best. (E.g. if you are slightly more introverted than extroverted, put an 'X' in the second box.) Explain your choice as well.
Introverted [ ] [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] Extroverted
Explain:
I am introverted among strangers, people I don't know very well, or superiors. With people I'm comfortable with, I become more outgoing.
Cheerful [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] Gloomy
Explain: I am generally cheerful and I don't usually like to wallow in sadness or self-pity. I like to look forward and I'm not nostalgic.
Leader [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] Supportive
Explain: I'm a good leader in areas that I can be a good leader in. In fields in which I'm not familiar (science, business), I acknowledge that I cannot be a leader and prefer to follow more knowledgable people.
Confident [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] Modest
Explain: Again, I'm confident in areas that I feel well qualified in. Regarding new things, I like to approach them with confidence until I realize I don't know a thing, and then I'm modest.
Reserved [ ] [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] Impulsive
Explain: I'm sometimes reserved, sometimes impulsive. I'm reserved in more professional/formal settings. Among friends I'm impulsive.
Energetic [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] Calm
Explain: I'm energetic when it comes to things I'm passionate about. Usually, the more I know a subject, the more I learn about it or get acquainted with it, the more energetic I'll be about it..
Feminine [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] Masculine/Tomboyish
Explain: I love to be feminine. I'm very comfortable as a woman. I'm trying to be more feminine in the future.
4) Describe how you typically work in teams. Is it generally a good experience, or do you prefer working by yourself? Do you like to lead and make decisions or do you prefer to let others make decisions so that you can do the legwork? You may find it helpful to give an example of a team you worked on recently and how that went. I think I'm good both as a leader and as a follower. As a leader, I rely on everyone to do their part and do it promptly. I find myself doing most of the work as leader, which is annoying, but I have to do it. As a follower, I always do whatever is required of me. I don't experience problems with other members of the team.
5) What interests/hobbies do you have? How do you like to spend your free time? I like to watch movies, generally happy movies that I've watched before. I like to sleep, and hug my teddy bear. I like to hang out with my boyfriend or friends when I have nothing to do. I love cooking- it's my creative outlet. I love trying out new recipes, foods, and restaurants. And of course the internet.
6) Describe one to three careers you would find ideal, with a little explanation of why it appeals to you. Lawyer: It better be ideal, I've banked so much on it already. I'm not quite sure what kind of lawyer I'd like to be, but I'm attracted to employment law, plaintiff's side, since it has a sort of civil rights edge to it that jives with my interests. I like to work for ordinary people and fight discrimination.
I'm also intrigued by entertainment law because it's at the intersection of different kinds of law and would involve expertise in a lot of different areas. I'm interested in learning about transactions and contracts, and also intellectual property.
FF Questions:
7) List one to three favorite Final Fantasy games and why you like them. Sequels/spin-offs/non-numbered/KH/Dissidia games are okay. FFX and FFX-2. These are my favorite games. I love everything about them. The story is so compelling and the characters are so well fleshed out, they have become incredibly dear to me. I love how the games are so beautiful and with two games the world is 3-dimensional in all ways.
8) List one to three of your favorite Final Fantasy characters and why: Yuna: Definitely my favorite. Her development seems so realistic. I think she's a powerhouse disguised in a sensitive, gentle personality. Her relationship with Tidus is also very sweet. Tidus: I love his cheerfulness! It makes me happy to see him approaching every situation optimistically. I also love his character development through FFX. He really changes and I love seeing that. I think his narration *makes* FFX.
9) One to three characters you relate to (you may reuse answers from #8 if applicable) and why: I relate to Yuna just because she seems like a realistic, fleshed out character. I relate to and greatly admire her determination, her stoic adherence to doing her duty, and her pursuit of her own happiness. I also relate to her in that she has her moments of silliness. She knows how to have fun with her friends.
10) The FF game you liked playing least: FF12. Maybe I just rushed through it really fast or something, but I think the plot was really slapped together, without much characterization, causing me to not sympathize with the characters.
11) One to three FF characters you dislike and why: I don't really hate anyone. I suppose I didn't really care about Darrel from Advent Children.
12) Favorite weapon in a Final Fantasy game (either the name if you liked the name, or a picture if you liked the look of it, or a description if it had awesome stats/abilities): Brotherhood, because I love that its traits are linked to water, the significance of it to many different people, and its look.
13) Your favorite Final Fantasy summon (e.g. Ifrit, Carbuncle, Bahamut, etc.): Valefor, because he seems to have a dedicated, strong, and gentle personality.
14) Your favorite spell/ability/technique that can be learned in a Final Fantasy game (e.g. Esuna, Steal, special finishes/overdrives such as Tifa's Final Heaven limit break, etc.): Hmm... Haste. Entirely too useful!
15) A Final Fantasy mini-game/sidequest you invested entirely too much time into: Blitzball
16) Your favorite Cid: FFX's Cid
17) Optional: Up to one class you think does not fit you, with reasoning why.

In the end, I decided going for Thief, because that stood out to me more.

Thieves
*considers for quite some time*
I think I'm going to have to go with Black Mage. Especially with you wanting to be a lawyer, I imagine you as being someone who isn't afraid to speak your mind in a clear, confident manner. At the same time, nothing in your form indicates that you're super energetic, just so of calm and cool and collected.

You bring to mind some of the more lighter-hearted soldiers, such as the aforementioned Zack and Tidus, and also FFIII's Luneth. These guys can play as hard as they work, though they'll get what needs to be done out of the way. The confidence and level of energy you indicated in the dichotomies also seem to support this conclusion.
While Soldier tends to be the 'leader' jobclass here, I think an important aspect of the soldier characters, is that they can also work well within a team. Tidus, for example, knows how to fall back onto others, and his profession was a team sport. Zack was part of a military organization, and while he could lead, he could also follow commanders.
So, soldier for sure!

Also, I associate Lawyers with a sense of order, which strikes me as a very Soldier-y thing too.
Neutral
Mostly, though, you said, "I love to have fun." That just makes me think Thief more than anything!
So excited you applied by the way. I love your icons. :]

In general, many Soldier characters can be described as introverted around people they don't know until they're more comfortable. The ones I mentioned seeing the most in your application (Tidus, Zack, Ingus, and Luneth) are also all pretty cheerful; leaders when it is in areas they're more comfortable in; confident also in areas they're more comfortable in; energetic when it concerns something they're more passionate about; and quite a few Soldiers characters are sometimes more reserved or sometimes more impulsive depending on circumstances (Firion or Ashe would be good examples of this).
I definitely think your answer to the question about how you work in teams generally fits the Soldier archetype too. Most Soldiers are good as leaders and can be relied on in a team setting, but many Soldiers are also great at following and do the work that is required of them. Your ideal careers also seem like something I could picture Soldier characters liking! Some of your reasoning behind liking/relating to Yuna (I relate to and greatly admire her determination, her stoic adherence to doing her duty) actually remind me a lot of Soldier traits too, oddly enough. :)
~Yay...a fellow FFX/X-2 fan! ♥

I think this makes me want to say Thief. I am not one-hundred percent sure, but the term 'flexibility' seems to sum it up for me, but probably not in that Rikku-dancing-around kind of way. ♥

...In the end, I think I'm leaning more towards a Thief. Quite a few of them tend to have fairly excellent memorization and memory skills, and when they put their mind to something--they'll work hard to see it to its completion. Many of them are also just quite fun-loving in general too! There are some Thief characters who can be a bit more introverted around others at least initially (Shadow is one of the first to come to mind here, and Rikku was a bit more silent the first time she initially met Tidus too...and both Zidane and Locke don't really talk about their pasts much either until they get to know someone better), though most of them tend to be more open and extroverted once they view someone as a friend or trustworthy companion. They're often rather cheerful and like looking forward, and Thieves can be fairly good leaders when they feel they are capable of doing so (Zidane, Edge, Vaan, and Rikku are excellent examples of this)...though they are willing to let someone else lead at times when they feel it is what is best for a given situation. They often like to approach things with confidence as well--and many of them can be somewhat reserved at times, but impulsive in other situations...and many Thief characters can be QUITE energetic when they are dealing with things they feel passionately about too.
How you work in teams and the way you described your hobbies and interests also remind me quite a bit of many of the Thief characters I know of from the FF series too. Even your reasoning for why you like Tidus and Yuna seems fitting for quite a few Thief characters too (and Valefor appreciation! ♥ He is one of my personal favorite summons too! XD
Off-topic, but oh well!). ...It was definitely a very close call between Thief and Soldier for me though! ♥no subject
But, after re-reading it I think i'll go with Soldier mostly for reasons listed above.
*mentally slaps self for always being too slow.... -_- *

I think I am going to agree with the Soldier votes. You seem to be a very balanced individual when it comes to interacting with people, and you also seem to have a logical, orderly bent that I associate with Soldiers. You're comfortable in a leadership role, and you have a sense of duty, as well as an ability to get things done.
