4) Describe how you typically work in teams. Is it generally a good experience, or do you prefer working by yourself? Depends on the team and what we are doing. Work and school make teamwork a chore and a horrible experience. Something like a landcomm, however, is different in that "teamwork" is typically defined by working toward a common goal and not working on bits and pieces. Sure, there will be challenges like that, but for the most part, this place should be great. I only like to lead when given permission. I don't try to take over anything unless they're willing to give up leadership to a willing participant, etc.

5) What interests/hobbies do you have? How do you like to spend your free time?
I used to draw, but now I just do homework, haha.

6) Describe one to three careers you would find ideal, with a little explanation of why it appeals to you.
= Graphic artist, because hey, what artist doesn't want to be one?
= Astronaut, because space amazes me and I still want (NASA) to take a true-light image of Earth from the moon
= Traveling salesman, but mostly because I want to travel, not sell anything haha

FF Questions:

7) List one to three favorite Final Fantasy games and why you like them. Sequels/spin-offs/non-numbered/KH/Dissidia games are okay.
FFTA/FFTA2/CT:FFF, because they're all spin-offs, they all have a weak audience, and they're the most well thought out games because they aren't mainstream by any means, and are also unique, which I am typically drawn to.

8) List one to three of your favorite Final Fantasy characters and why:
Kadaj. He's my idol, I put my hair like his, I want to be him. I know, not a game character, but I couldn't not put him. I apologise in advance, because I typically like characters I can relate to, but I'm hardly like Kadaj. Or maybe I am, I don't know. I just love a character who seems evil, and is really just misled. I say I am a bad person and it typically shows, but when I look back on it, it just looks like a misunderstanding. I shake my head, however, and assume that I am just evil, even though I apologise through gritted teeth.
Squall Leonhart. He is me in a nutshell. I'm a little more BAAAWW than him, but it's about the same. Pre disc 3, that is. They say you typically like a character you feel is similar to you, so he's very much so.
Cloud Strife. I hem and haw and hate myself for everything I've ever done and not done, similarly to him. I wish I could take it all back and I spend most of my days trying to figure out how to time travel.

9) One to three characters you relate to (you may reuse answers from #8 if applicable) and why:
See number 8, because that's basically why my favourites are favourites, because I relate to them.

10) The FF game you liked playing least:
That's like asking me which air I liked breathing the least. Sorry, but air is air. End bad analogy.

11) One to three FF characters you dislike and why:
I dislike Rinoa, I guess, because I think she reminds me of me on a bad day. Whiny, self-absorbed, etc. Maybe also the "player" characters like Locke or Setzer or Zidane, because they seem shallow initially. I don't know. I don't really dislike characters.

12) Favorite weapon in a Final Fantasy game (either the name if you liked the name, or a picture if you liked the look of it, or a description if it had awesome stats/abilities):
Take your pick, I'm a nerd for good weapons. Anything that has fighters drooling is my favourite.

13) Your favorite Final Fantasy summon (e.g. Ifrit, Carbuncle, Bahamut, etc.):

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

After deliberation, I think I see you as a Dragoon, as you are quiet, modest, and remind me of Kimarhi. Your focus on your own regrets and past remind me of other dragoons such as Fang (XIII) and even Cid Highwind (though he tend to express it more... violently).

Your answers to the dichotomies (gloomy, reserved, introverted, etc.) are pretty much textbook Dragoon.

I think I'm leaning the most towards Dragoon as well. Many Dragoons are pretty introverted when it comes to talking about themselves, don't often get "WHEEE HAPPY" either, are easily comfortable in both a leader or supportive role, are surprisingly modest with moments of confidence, tend to think of all possible outcomes, and are more masculine/tomboyish as well. I think a lot of the Dragoon characters could be described as more "mellow" too. :)

I had a hard time deciding between Dragoon and Soldier, but in the end, I think I'll go with Dragoon. Most Dragoons are very introverted, reserved, modest, and I can see their view on teamwork and leading/supporting being generally the same as yours.

Well, at this point it sounds pretty unoriginal...but I think I'm leaning the most towards Dragoon as well. I could see some Soldier at times in how you responded to things, but overall I kept going back to Dragoon as the better fit. How you described yourself reminds me quite a bit of Kimahri, Ward, Kain, Freya, Fang, and Cid at times. They can be fairly creative characters in certain instances (Cid in particular), and many of them (Kain, Fang, Kimahri, and Cid) all have instances in their past and regrets that they carry with them in how they interact with others now in a way. Many of them (Kimahri, Ward, and Kang in particular) are more introverted overall, they tend not to be characters of the "WHEE HAPPY" variety, are comfortable in both leadership and supportive roles, can project an air of confidence but have some personal doubts about themselves or their capabilities at times, are more reserved for similar reasoning as to what you gave, and I could see quite a few of them describing themselves as being more "mellow" overall. How you responded to the group work question also reminded me about how many of these characters approach being in parties too. :)

Also, it's nice to see someone mention the spin-off/side-story games rather positively too! I actually like quite a few of the ones I've played so far for similar reasoning. :D

I'm actually thinking of Soldier for you. While I see a lot of Dragoon too, they just always strike me as very confident characters while you seem to be more modest and well, I don't want to sound offensive or anything since it's definitely not my intention but you seem not to realize your positive traits perhaps? Again, I don't mean it in a bad way but it reminds me of characters like Squall or Cloud. They don't really talk about positive stuff about them and "hide" themselves from others and are often like "I don't care" etc. Very introverted I'd say and you seem to be like that too. You're tomboy-ish, gloomy and reserved which reminds me of them (but not the Tidus-type soldiers). The fact you relate to the soldiers probably swayed me a bit too. Soldiers seem a but more impulsive than you but again, I had to pick one of those. Dragoon is my second close with some Black Mage here and there. Ugh, I hope I am making any sense and I apologize if i sound rude, I didn't mean to, especially since I personally like Cloud and Squall and they seem to similar to you.

Not rude in the least, I greatly appreciate your honesty.

I can see both Dragoon and Soldier in your application but in the end I think Dragoon is what I see more. Your positive/negative traits, your either/or section and the overall tone of your application remind me more of Dragoon than Soldier. Many of the Dragoon characters are reserved,think things through and I think Dragoons are good leaders and can lead if necessary but normally are more like second in command.

I feel like I'm turning into the queen of redundant votes. XD Anyway, I'm going to go with Dragoon for you! Your checkboxes reminded me quite a bit of Kain, actually, and the dragoons tend to be quieter, more introspective, and gloomier.

Being a touch unhelpful here, but I agree with Roax. Soldier is what I saw in you - the Squall and Cloud types, specifically. You very much relate to them, and there's a reason for it, I think. You're comfortable with leading when you have to, but don't feel like that's the only role you can fill, you're not especially confident about it, but I imagine you get the job done nonetheless. While the Kain-vibes were strong, I think Squall and Cloud overwhelmed them enough to justify my vote.

Can I say I'm not surprised you're more like me? How you marked yourself on the 'traits' section said the most to me. Because you seem quite aware of yourself and which end of the spectrum you lie in. Your "mellow", reserved nature and non-cheerful attitude is so Dragoon. Honestly, looking through your application I'm not sure what else you could be. I think soldiers are more in the middle than you are and the other classes lie in an extreme you're not leaning towards.

I really want to say Soldier, and I definitely would if it didn't have a few extroverted and cheerful oddballs like Tidus and Zack mixed in with it. As it is, Dragoon is the only class I can think of where nearly all of the characters are consistently introverted, reserved, more masculine, not rays of sunshine, and can be either supportive or take up leadership.

Uhm.. Dragoon maybe? Actually I can see a bit of Soldier as well, and you also mentioned you relate to characters like Cloud and Squall but in the end I see Dragoon for you. I can see a bit of Freya, Kain and Fang in your answers, and Dragoon normally strike me as introverted, reserved and more masculine than feminine
